- and most of all, ORD

of course the most important would be drawing closer to God and having a pure heart.

Just watched the Chinese service on 201209 online, and man, it is powerful. The testimony of Billy Wang (or Dongfang Billy as he is more popularly known) really really impacted me. The things he shared during the service was so powerful that it was like a revelation to me. It looks like after being in church for such a long time, I forgot the basics, which is to faithfully touch God an not just be part of the crowd of onlookers but really, to faithfully seek Him, despite your situation. Though your situation may be dire, or you may think that it doesn't affect you much, God will be there to pull you through in the end. This reminds me of what Pastor once preached, that God will be able to give you the provision, no matter what you are going through in life, no only to go through the situation, but to love Him even more after that, nothing in this world happens by chance and sometimes, like when we are sick, it is not because God wants us to be sick, but how we take care of ourselves. Like when things are not going our way or when we stumble, do we blame God? Do we blame our leaders? Do we blame those around us, our friends? The answer is NO! We only have ourselves to thank for this predicament that we are in. All the more you, as a member, and a child of God should listen to your leaders, not wallow in self pity, but be strong, take your leader's advice, take God's advice and change for the better. Then when you are ready, God will bring you to an even higher plane than ever before.

P.S. This here is to serve as a reminder to myself and those around me.

Sigh, already one year and 3 months have passed since I enlisted into the army, there were many ups, and definitely many down times too, but I thank God, that through it all, He stood by my side, unwavering, always there for me. Even right now, as I am typing this post, I can feel His peace upon me, what an awesome God I serve.

It has been a great year over at Pasir Laba Camp, I have already seen 4 batches of BSLC and ASLC passing out from here, makes me really wonder, why am I not a commander? But no matter, If i have to be a man in the SAF, I will be the best there is!

It is going to be Christmas day in 3 days time, how exciting, although I'd really wish I wouldn't have guard duty on Christmas eve. Sigh. But, like it or not, I have to do the things I have to do.

I have nothing much which I want this year, except maybe a new acoustic guitar with a solid cedar top with solid rosewood back and sides, sigh, this will cost in excess of $1.9 K. Sigh. But, I am believing God for His blessings to come upon me.

Even as the year draws to a close, I wanna share some highlights of this year.

Although these events might seem insignificant to many people, but I cherished every single moment. Of course I always, as per tradition must thank certain people who have made this year a wonderful one.
Amber - for believing in us always and for leading the subzone, thanks for the chances you gave to me, I cherish each and everyone of them.

Tian Yi - Thanks for being my leader, although I sometimes never meet your expectations, thank you for always believing in me! You are a Great friend and a great leader. Thanks for giving me the chance to play for CG, I will keep on improving and working hard.

Joycelyn - Hey Joy, great to see you finally a CGL, keep on keeping on! Jia You!

Delphine - Thanks for the many chances to play for your CG, thanks for believing in me too. It is an honor to be able to serve God.

Yan Ming - Although I don't know whether you will ever see this, but I just want to say, You have been an inspiration to me!

Celine - What can I say about you? my good friend, it has been great knowing you and I just want to say, thanks for always being there for me. You're the best.

Audrey Ho - Girl, its been great knowing you during KL emerge, I will keep my promise and be there next year, thanks for hearing me out when I was down and wanted to rant, you are awesome girl.

Sing Xuan - You are an absolute angel, you inspire me, the way that you care for your members and the things you would do for your friends. Keep on keeping on.

Jiaqi - Great to have known you this year, in our friendship, there were many good times as well as bad times. Sorry for all the bad things that happen. But I cherished every single moment. Also, Build on your passion for music, you will be able to get your desired saxophone one day. Continue to grow in your walk with God and become even stronger in Him. Jia You!!

Pei Xuan - Hey best friend, really started talking only during the BCC, but hey, its been great knowing you, keep that smile on your face, continue to always serve with fire and passion. Jia you!!

W389 - Always bearing with me. Always availing yourselves to last minute changes, you guys rock!

Thank God for the new electric guitar. liking it more and more.

Recent developments have let me discovered more and more about myself and those around me. I thank God for revealing them to me.

Christmas is coming, time to fasten my seatbelt and rush forward!

After 9 months in the army, I finally passed my SOC (Standard Obstacle Course)at least obstacles and coming up tomorrow will be my first waterpolo game in 4 years this time playing for the army. Hope all goes well.

Camp Castaway is coming up, hope I can get to know many more people in the zone, and of course, grow to where God has released me to.

I pray that all the participants in the camp will enjoy it and everything will be smooth with good weather!

P.S. I want to experience a different culture in another country.

Just came back from a short trip to Genting Highlands yesterday, and today just had IPPT and still my silver eludes me. Silver oh silver when will you come to me. These few weeks have been awesome, living out my time to the fullest, enjoying my life, God appearing to be more real than ever before. I thank God for my family and friends who supported me through these times.

As for NS, sometimes things we do may seem to have no meaning, but hey, take a positive mindset and just do your best whatever you set out to do. :) (new army Uniform is great, but I get the feeling that I am the only one who appreciates it)

Recent events have made me wonder, where does my passion really lie. Is it in cheer, music, singing, or others. I really want to be good at something. Not a jack of all trades and master of none. What do I want to do....aarrgghh in a dilemma now!!

In other news, the new batch of SOT has just started today. I cannot believe it has already been a year. So many things have happened. I really cherish all the times in SOT, and all the friends made.

Oh yes, I almost had to sign extra for my iPod charger. As me if you want to know more. Lessons are getting more and more complex and getting more and more physically and mentally tired.

On a lighter note, I am going to try out for Wildcards Cheerleading.

Back for my once a month posting. Since entering into 1 MI Bn for the last 2 months, many things have happened, there were ups, and there were downs, but I sure am glad that God has seen me thru it all.

In my company, there are many characters, God is really testing me with them. In certain times, Ihave disappointed them. In other times, they have disappointed me, but overall it has been a good experience having them around.

Should I get a new Ipod or the Sony Ericsson G700 non-camera phone suggestions welcome!

As another year comes to a close, it's now time to reflect upon 2008. It has been a great year with many more ups than downs. Here are some highlights of the year.

- Moved from W351 to W389 in may after 7 months.

- Graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Electronics.

- Enrolled into School of Theology (14th student intake) and had the time of my life. This is the best thing that happened this year.

- Joined Choir Ministry, although only a short 5 months

- Turned 21.

- Guitar Lessons with Poh

- Enlisted to serve National Service on 11 Sept 2008 in Pegasus Company.

- Passing out from BMT.

- Entering into 1 MI Bn.

- Asia Confrence (although only 2 services, but I had a good time).

- Mediacorp performance for Campus Superstar with the new, improved Euphoria.

- Experiencing God like never before.

I was reading the post I which I had posted last year end. Indeed this year has been greater than the last, and I believe that next year, it will be a greater year.

Here is to thank certain people for this great year:

W389 - For being so welcoming to me when I first entered the cell group. All the fun times, all the discipling from Joe/Edmund/Tian Yi was worth it with all of you by my side. Thanks for making a positive impact in my life. I know I can definitely count on you guys

Team 16 SOT - Thanks for all the times in SOT, all the prayer focus, OPM, fellowship, doing projects, gatherings. Everyone of you have made an impact in my life. Special thanks to Michele-jie for being our ever so great team leader.

All other friends I know from SOT - You guys have made an impact when I am down, looked out for me all the time. It has been great knowing how and what God has done in your lives, keep on keeping on for Him.

CHC Choir Ministry - I had much fun during my time in choir, made many friends too. What impacted me the most was seeing God move even in Choir Practice, man, it was awesome. You guys are all spiritual giants. Thanks to all my friends in choir, I will never forget each and everyone of you!

Geraldine - for all the times I pestered you about my phone. Thanks for being patient. Keep on growing in capacity to do more things for God. Jia you!

Poh - For teaching me guitar, spotting my mistakes and correcting my techniques.

And most of all Jesus Christ, for showing himself ever so real during the times when I was most down in BMT and lifting me up to where I am today. Also answering many of my prayers, both personally and for others, making me stronger in the faith and placing me in my desired unit.

Lessons with Poh have been great, learning a lot on how to lift up CG atmosphere by adding more dynamics to the song, be it praise or worship. I really thank God for such a great teacher, teaching me how to improve in the areas that I am weak/bad in. Shall go and practice whenever I am free.

On another note, I am thinking of joining Wildcards Cheerleading team, to improve from my current standard. But it will clash with CG meeting. So I have to seriously consider. Gotta see if Wilcards side can compromise a little or not.

Army has been well, a different experience for me, so much so that I cannot wait for weekends to come. The atmosphere in the army is so much different. Its, too routine for my liking, practically doing the same things over and over, facing the same people over and over, same people hating each other over and over. There needs to be a CHANGE!! Maybe I am too sheltered, but I feel that this time in army is an eye opener for me. To see how people behave and react and based on what I have seen, the army is a good place to really learn, to see how nasty people can be. But I still thank God for His strength as I believe I can change things as change is the only constant.

As Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” I have been holding on to this verse throughout the time in army, to tide through the difficulties I face.

Field camp coming up really soon, my test to see if a commander's life is one for me. Pledging weekend is next weekend but I am at field camp, thank God for the amount.

God empower me, that even through this tough time, I am able to be strengthened by you. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am also believing that I can go for Asia Conference as I hold on to all things are possible to him who believes. Amen

Its about 4 more days till I enlist into the army and serve the nation. So here is just a short update.

Been 2 weeks since SOT graduation and must say. It has been great day after day after day. Went for KL Emerge conference the week after graduation and got a chance to lead the team from Singapore at attributes, and not forgetting the friends made there. Although it was very tiring, it was a really fruitful trip.

The week upon graduation, I woke up in the morning thinking that I was late for school and not only myself, but most students too. I can be positively sure that SOT will change your life, just as it has changed mine. The times in SOT 2008 will be etched in my memory forever.

Dear readers, just want all of you to pray for me that as I enlist, the favour of God would be upon me throughout the entire time of army. Also that I may attend Asia Conference.

It has been more than a month since I was last here. Here are some updates.

For those who don't know, I just turned 21 on Wednesday, 09 July 2008. Had a great birthday celebration with TRP. Total blessings received this Birthday is almost double what I gave for the Building Fund. Thank God.

SOT has been a great time of stretching. After preaching tests, came Pst Mike Connell and man was it powerful. Got to lay hands and deliver people over the weekend too. Yesterday and Today, had tests in SOT. Yesterday's paper was relatively easy for most of the students. Today's paper was hard. I think all the SOT student all didn't expect it. Got to study harder for the next 2 papers (FT1 and FT2). I guess I relatively know which ministry I will want to continue in after SOT. For what it is You just have to wait and see.

Just knew my enlistment status yesterday, I will be enlisting between August 2008 and February 2009. I pray that it is in December 08. So I can perform for Asia Conference with Euphoria before I enlist. I need a miracle. God help me

It has almost been a month since I last updated and just wanna thank God for the many things that have happened.

Just earlier, I was a little hesitant about asking my mum to allow me to go for mission trip to Kedah, Malaysia for a mini Emerge Conference. I just went to tell her that I need to go overseas as part of school and she didn't object. My mind was like "!?!". Unbelievable. God is good.

Just some updates on SOT, recently after being in SOT, I feel that, spiritually, I am more sensitive. Although I yearn for more. These 2 weeks of lessons on Home Cell Group Leadership have been a mind blowing, life changing experience, not only are we taught how to move in the Holy Spirit, we are also taught how to effectively run a cell group meeting. One lesson which impacted me the most was the lesson on the pitfalls of the ministry. I feel that this lesson has really spoken to me in certain areas of my life. So I am going to P.U.S.H. - Pray Until Something Happens.

For the mock Cell Group evaluation, I was chosen at random to preach the Word of God, on the topic on Faith. Once I finish my sermon, I will put it up here. Also going to take Praise and Worship for the other 2 mock Cell Groups.

For the past 2 weeks since I transferred into W389, I just want to thank God that I could easily click with the members and new friends. Praying for more to come and greater breakthroughs in this Cell Group.

Went for BV audition yesterday. They said that my vocals are good but need to control and project my voice better and also control my breathing while singing. But overall it was a good experience and I think I managed to pull of a difficult song in I Will Bless The Lord. Thank God for the chance. Man I really need a vocal coach.

Looking Forward to my remaining days in SOT.

SOT has been an amazing journey so far, for those who do not know, SOT is School of Theology. Although it has been just 3 days, every session has been wam bam powerful. On day 1 during orientation, my Team, Team 16, combined with team 25 to form team 41 (16+25 = 41) and came in second place and we all won $30 attributes voucher each. thanks to eddie who led the cheer. 2nd day was amazing too, Presence of God was so tangible that the auditorium broke out in holy laughter. day 3 was even better, the joy of the lord was so tangible in the hall that I think everyone who was there felt the joy of the lord. Pst D also laid hands on all the students.

WOW, breakthrough for Euphoria, thanks to Jesse who came down today to coach us. I managed to do a single base extension which I have been struggling with since blazers days. thank you to Kang Wei, Kin Wei, Faith, Seema and Jesse for your help. Hope the newbies will be able to learn fast.

Oh, my team won 2nd place for the final5 entrepreneurship competition and got $300 as a team, which works out to about $75 per person which allows me to fulfill my building fund FULLY!!! Praise the Lord.

Well I am looking for a job with a flexible timing so that I am able to finance myself through SOT, praying for a miracle too, that I may be able to complete SOT before army and also to help Euphoria perform during the Asia Confrence. So if you have job lobangs do tell me!

God help my Dad's business turn for the better, let the debtors pay up quickly. I really hope (and pray) that my family's financial situation will be better.

well, my first post after chinese new year, this cny was great, throughly enjoyed myself during the visitations, and although I visited lesser places than last year, the money from the ang paos seem to be more than previous years. my family did not go to the 2 main places where a lot of ang paos are collected, but we still visited lots of places which we don't often visit. still thank God for that much needed financial boost for building fund.

well been thinking of certain stuff recently that among all the friends I have, I haven't found one which I can consider really close, be it guy or gal. tho I have friend whom I can click with, I still feel that to be a close friends, one has to be able to be able to talk about practically everything under the sun, someone whom you can share your deepest darkest secrets with, someone who will encourage/stand by you in times of need, someone who can stand being with you, some one who is both a good talker and listener even if you are not one, someone who will lay their life down for you, someone whom you always like to call or receive their calls, someone who will enjoy every minute spent with each other. not the kind where you meet up and talk/fellowship and go separate ways, or those like upon meeting up say hi and ask a few questions and bye (hi bye friends). Well, projects are just about to be cleared and I am graduating soon, anyone have lobangs for jobs please tell me. I am willing to do anything as long as the job does not need me to work weekends and I get Wednesday nights off.

Also just received an email I sent to digital life about the gaming get together event, still contemplating whether to go. Its on this Saturday. 10am - 1pm.

I now pray that I will be able to attend SOT fully and also Asia Conference (POS!) before entering army. God help me.

time for a much needed update, thank you my readers who continued reading even if there were no updates.

Recently life has been, well, kind of smooth sailing. Although it could have been much better. was on the verge of and urge for a merge, those who know what that sentence means will know what I am talking about. anyway, its over and I do not want to talk about it any more :P.

Service was great, Dr AR Bernard never fails to blow my mind. Thank God for people like him.

Well this past week had many challenges, Just want to thank God that I was able to pull through. NAPFA test was on Friday and my results are as follows:
Sit and reach, 38 cm
Chin up, 1! (pathetic)
Standing Broad Jump, 225 cm (first time I ever pass)
Shuttle run, 9.7 seconds
Sit ups, 42 reps (no improvement)
2.4 km run, 16.59 mins (totally blew it)
Based on these scores, I need someone who can help me to train, intensively for 3 weeks. Who is able?? Also this week rush projects like mad. Immediately after NAPFA test, went to do projects till 3 am. MADNESS I tell you. My group leader is MAD. Well I just hope I do not fall sick.

Thinking of opening a private blog to rant, currently under consideration.

looking forward to medical checkup on Tuesday. God please make my enlistment be in September, If not then December. I really want to go for, SOT, Breakaway camp and of course, ASIA CONFERENCE. I do not want to miss any of them. Thank You GOD. AMEN.

Well been blog-surfing and found out hat many people have listed down the highlights of their year so I have decided to do mine also.

Here are some of the special highlights of 2007:

yeah. today teamed up with jun yi and chun peng for eating contest at christmas fiesta. and guess what, we won 1st prize, $100 isetan vouchers. I practically gulped down 7 slices of bread, 3/4 a 1.5 litre of coke and at least 5 biscuits out of 15. The items to be eaten were half a watermelon, 10 slices of bread, 15 biscuits, and a bottle of 1.5 litre coke. seriously speaking, I thought we would not be able to win. but thank God helped to maintain the winning streak for ET zone. Well, it has seriously been almost a month since I came into blogger and I really have this urge to update now.

Just last saturday, had a cheerleading performance with SP cheer squad and I must say the squad has the potential, like any squad, to go far. Only if the people were more daring to try new stunts. I am not trying to pinpoint anyone but it's just how I feel so don't mind me ranting. Anyway, the performance was great but it could have been better, due to the fact that we actually got down to train for 1 full day. I must admit, it is the first time that I am involved in planning of the stunts and it was great how it turned out. I wanna thank, Hui Wen, Wei Pin, Raymond for giving me this chance to perform. I believe SPC has the potential to be better than NTU Aces/MAGNUM FORCE. Ganbatte. Keep On Keeping On.

On another note, I just read my group member's blog about our final year project. There was this line saying, "Seriously, I hate my group leader! U just dun care about this MP. U dun have what it takes to be a leader! I dun care if u knew it!". As group leader, I cannot say that I am not affected by this. I know even though I did not do much work during the major project period, and I know that she got low marks for presentation. But the blame cannot be all pushed to me right? I mean, ya, cos I am doing my part for the project also. Even though the 3 of us never talk much during the period, I believe we have done a good job and will get good results.

There is just something which I do not want to say over here. Just want to thank God for the blessings which He has given to me :). I will continue to chase my dreams, no dream wrecker is gonna stop me from achieving what I want. You all may not believe I can do it, but I will prove to you I can do it :P

Fellowship yesterday with Jun Wen, Jon Teo and Guan Jin was great. We went for dinner near my place before going to the lib and paying Jon's fine, only to find out that both Guan Jin and Jun Wen have a lot of outstanding fines. Well ended my MP/SIP CWO today. Overall it has been a good experience in my opinion cos I learnt a lot on how the staff in TP work even though us students are having our holidays and enjoying ourselves. I have a new found respect for the TP staff.

Zone PM with Pst Derek was great, felt really convicted to go back once again into His arms. Oh yes, I am transferring cell group to W351, its going to be a new experience for me as I have never been directly under jerb. I really pray that I can grow to another level.

well a latest update from me.

It's not that I want to be late but.....still cannot discipline my body to wake up early. That is my own fault, what I am worried about is another matter altogether.

The matter that is getting a lot of attention from me in school is me being nice and helping people to clock in when I am early, even though it is not a lot of people. One fine day one of the people whom I am helping to clock in, was still at home and her supervisor came into the lab. Seeing that she was not in the lab, and had a valid clock in, she was sent for a disciplinary hearing. During the hearing, she told the discipline committee that I was the one helping her to clock in. But I am glad that at least she did not lie to get away with it as she is a fellow church mate. If I am willing to do such things, I must be willing to face the consequences of my actions. So just pray that I will have the wisdom to say the right things and get like CWO and not expulsion or having to repeat the semester.

Anyway prayer meeting yesterday was a blast, I haven felt God's presence so strongly in my life for a long time already. What Jennifer said during the meeting impacted me. Made me want to see God more again in my life and experience him again. What I needed was the assurance of His love and that was what I received during the meeting.

Recently had a dream, dunno wat it means also. It was about POS haha, cant remember the exact details as it happened a few days ago. but it definately means something....could it be that nxt yr TRP will be like in my dream....champions....both cluster and POS.....could it be that there is going to be a mass revival in both the schools that we are able to win overall cluster champion....hmmm....I dont really know but if it really comes to pass I will be glad

Was reading from a link on shing's blog about Hillsong Church and their members, after reading it, I have no doubts that CHC is like that at all, I mean even though we have like more members and a building that cost a lot also. but I believe pastor has said that we should bring the people in and love all of them and not to turn any of them away. No wonder I havent seen Brian houston preaching in CHC before. Or it could be my own thinking.

heyo....a post after a long time.....haha

was watching THE SIMPSONS MOVIE yesterday....alone....haha. Its a nice movie....very recommended by me....as I dun usually recommend....haha....cos I rarely watch....but this movie is the first in 18 years...so just go and watch it to know what happens...not to reveal any spoilers....all I can say now is that the show centers around homer...how he caused a disaster and saves the day haha....oh and american band green day makes an apperance....just go watch...n u will feel that as compared to wat the simpsons are going thru, what your family is going thru is nothing....just wat I feel....o btw...STAY TO THE END of the credits....got some farni parts at the end and also a prophecy abt the future of the simpsons.

hmm....now I am in class seriously pondering about my future, will I have to repeat this semester or not, will I be able to graduate in April 2008....and other things....yoou may ask why am I pondering over what seems like small trivial matters, but to me, these are not trivial.

Was once again late for school, due to a bus being over crowded and had to take the next one. Really made the wrong choice, should have just squeezed into the bus. Anyway, on the bus that was not crowded, was asking around for help to help me clock in...and for this once no one wanted to help me, my classmates were like all buisy all of a sudden so i was late for the 2nd time since receiving my waring letter about being late. This is seriously troubling me as I cannot be late after receving the waring letter. Cos if I am late again, I have to repeat the semester no matter how well I do for the major project.

Glad to see that my spiritual life is going back on track slowly but surely. Also I wish to thank all who made my bitrhday the best one yet, Euphoria, N317, Attributes and of course TRP. I thank God that He has placed all of you into my life and I cherish every single one of you although it may seem like i do not care sometimes. Well I'll sign of here then, pray for me guys. tks.

A day after POS 2007 and 2nd day of emerge....and I am stuck in school.....only cos my lecturer wants to meet up with me...sigh

overall TRP POS 2007 has been my best....in terms of performance....and I will really like to thank the people who have helped us or came to support usin one way or another....Decai, Freddy, kexin, darren huang, shee zheng, zeng min, hao han, henry, jun cen, alex, xue min, jia hui, darren chung, jocelin, arielle, kenneth, aaron aw....and the rest who I never mention your names. THANKS loads. All of you have helped us made this a great performance.

Although I havent seen the video yet, I know that we stand a high chance, tho we did not have all our stunts up. receive standing ovation from the whole church.

Anyways....considering whether i should go back to blazers when this is over....as a few of the POS people want to join but don't want to join Euphoria...sigh

Usually I won't buy so expensive stuff but as my dad was working, the water accidentally dripped onto the pants and Timberland asked him to buy it...thank God it was my size, otherwise wasted. haha its the color I wanted too.

well finally decide to update after some ppl who say my blog is getting old. Well recently had delirious? in service again, well what can I say... they are still good but most people still do nort know their songs so i was like practically singing alone at the place where I sit...but cannot blame them mah the ppl sitting beside me all new friends haha. o well missed the chance to get them to sign my album but hey there is always FOP...haha

Well recently my life has been relatively alright yup. passed all my term test papers and ya learning dance now...making more time to learn more...will go for actual classes on day now I'll just stick with open classes.

Recently added another ministry to my life...cheerleading. Finally joined the ministry after many attempts to join. well I am posting this to let everyone know that there is such a ministry and if u are interested in joining pls do not hesitate to contact me.

The next goal in my life is to really set up a band. Currenly looking for a Drummer, Bassist, Keyboardist, and another guitarist. if u can fill any of this positions, do not hesitate to contact me. hope that this guitarist is better than me so I can improve also.

hmm, have not updated for a long time, well finally adjusted to sch life alr, supposed to be doing home work todae, didnt even go gym due to that intention, but ended up slacking.

well arise and build has started and pledged an amt on sunday...really touched my heart...the presence of God during CG n svc was very strong...one of the strongest times after emerge...tears we welling up in my eyes thru the svc...hmm...shld I look for a part time job?? I really wanna work...maybe during hols ba...now got project to do...by fri muz hand in the first part...God pls grant me the capacity to do it...

Within the past few months many ppl I noe have become CGL alr...though I really see myself becoming a CGL one day...first i shld work on my struggles first...like wat yong heng says on his msn nick...I WANT BREAKTHRU...then continue working to be CG guitarist ...as what the word of God says...Seed, Time and harvest, to have the vision planted by God, the time taken to mould me into that vision, then comes the harvest

hurray...finally a new skin and tks to jian rong for the idea

hmm...sch just started today...well kinda still getting used to sch life now after sucha long break...hmm many things have changed (like ppl going to other classes, muslims nvr come to sch, passing of my fren's relative) bt the ppl in my class still have not quite changed...well one of my lecturers asked the 2 classes in my course to form groups which can be of ppl frm different classes for MP/SIP but most of the ppl i ask want to go for overseas SIP which i dont cos i dont really wanna miss CG n svc...but anw gotta pray abt it and ask God to guide me

well svc was overall great as usual...but kinda enjoyed more of the fellowship afta svc where we had scavenger hunt...anw though my team did not win but i had fun...haha...met up wif the trp peeps afta tat to send hao han off to NS initially wanted to go for kenny rogers but when reach there saw many ppl so changed to marche...really missed seeing the other POS ppl frm last yr...ppl like my beloved flier sis Xuemin, chang chin, zeng min etc really miss them alot

Wa...sat svc sat at the 1st row in front of the hall...Pastor can see every move I make...wa then cannot look back n see wat time...cannot take out handphone...the time that I say yes and Amen the most times during svc haha...wa super scary...bt the presence of God was...woohoo pwr la...can really feel the anointing frm the pulpit...Pastor Kong is a really great preacher...one day if I ever get the chance to preach...gonna do it like him...God Pls give me the amount to give for building fund

Went to eat dinner wif Henry, Jian Rong, Jon Teo, Darren Huang, Darren Chung...haha ate banli and fishball noodles...did not tok much though...the guyz were toking abt army stories the whole way...Jon and me listen onli...haha bt was still fun la...learnt many things like wat to expect during NS...went back wif Jon n Jian Rong...thks guys for kiping me company haha

Sun svc was sorta different...testimony was more relaxed style...haha cos Pastor kinda noe what the guy gonna say alr...but was still v impactful...BS was oso great...learnt how to share the gospel to ppl...abt the roman road, how my personal testimony can impact and about the broken bridge.

Cell was great on saturday...God really confirm the word he gave to me for this wk...Rom 12:2...to renew my mind in the way I think and do things and also in the way I reach out to my friends...reiterated by pastor once again during svc...hmm I better go find my notes frm Rev Dr Casey Treat svc...where he preached on this subject...and really meditate on this verse...commit it to memory

Abt the haze dis few days...hope that all can keep each other in prayer...to ensure that no one falls sick...even though the weather is better today.

had ministry mtg ystd and the ldrs ask us the zone ICs to come up with something which we are the strongest at in the ministry to train the other zone ICs also...which really set me thinking...am i as good in music as I think I am...really still got a lot which I dun noe abt

neways svc last wk was great la...pastor talked abt anger during the marriage seminar and how we are supposed to handle anger...which was really great...though it is duning the marriage seminar bt pastor preached it like it was for everyone...thought abt the times when I went into a rage and throw chairs at people (but miss...which is a good thing), stalk ppl...haix really shldnt have done those things lor...bt after attding this really felt renewed in my thinking...that I shldnt have blown up at those times...for ppl who dunno me well...I used to be really emotional...little bit thing that I feel which I did wrong I wld break down and cry...and unless i really cannot take it i will blow up (which onli happened twice so far in my memory)...bt really want to thank God that I have changed to be who I am now...well cannot wait for saturday and sunday (my fav days) to come once again...haha signing off here

well really learnt a lot frm Rev. Dr. Robb Thompson during today's svc...b4 the svc i heard of IQ(intelligence quotient), EQ(emoional quotient), AQ(adversity quotient)....bt afta the svc got another 2 Qs (aiyo not another one) PQ(physical quotient) and RQ(relationsip quotient). well initially i thought this message ws not for me but as the svc went on felt more and more that the svc was for me.

Many things touched me like...it is the height of deception and arrogance to believe that we determine the outcome of our lives.While in truth, they are determined by those we grant access. which refers to who we mix with in life. also that there is a third voice speakingthat prevents u frm hearing God and that we have got to not listen to that voice and break thru. rmb satan cannot plan your destruction , he can onli plan ur distraction

well i am not gonna preach the entire sermon but the thing that hit me most is that we shld not help ppl who do no want help but give them a handout. the most important thing abt todays sermon is that i have to learn how to deal wif ppl...even my ldr say so...haix...

abt today's pm...got a little distracted cos v tired didnt really pray as strongly as i shld have haiz...wat is the cause of my letargy?? my glasses...took it off and felt much better...haha

An old man lived in a run-down shack on the outskirts of town. He had no family but a hound dog, Mace, who simply loved chewing grass. Whenever the old man was in town doing some odd jobs, Mace would spend the day in front of the shack, chewing away on the lawn.

One day, the old man met a lady in town who had a plumbing job that would pay for a week's food. Delighted, he followed the lady home and was about to start work when he discovered that his wrench was missing. Without a wrench, he couldn't do the job!

Walking dejectedly back home, the old man saw that Mace was not chewing grass on the lawn as he usually did, but was chewing away on a grass patch by the side of the road. Kneeling beside the hound, the man, with tear-filled eyes, told the dog that there would be no dinner that night. The future looked bleak too as he had no money to buy a new wrench.

Then, he caught a glimpse of something shining in the grass. It was his wrench! The old man had dropped it on his way out that morning. It would have been lost forever had Mace not chewed on that grass patch beside the road. The old man hugged the dog with joy, picked up the wrench and ran back to town to complete the job.

That night, the old man wrote a moving tribute to his canine companion. Few people have ever heard these words until now...

many things ran thru my mind when my mum did not allow mi to go for bookstore orientation...things like how i feel arnd ppl...like when i took part in pos...the relationships built within the 2 months were more meaningful the relationships with my secondary sch frens for 5 yrs and like in cell too...nvr have i felt so sad when a fren leave my side as friday...usually when ppl leave mi i am like ok lor u leaving then bye...but on fri during multiplication felt really sad to leave my fellow N163ers but have i to move on...also thoughts like how to prevent myself from backsliding and drawing near to Jesus in future and also like how can i grow to live by faith and seek God more...gosh looks like i need to pray and fast more...well cheerios

finally...last day of sch before study wk then exams...well this wk has been great and yup passed all my subjs summore 2 wif v high marks!!! hey hey hey...back once more ta blog....in sch nw just got my com configured for wireless access yeah...so basically dis 3 daes r quite hectic for mi lor cos still in holiday mood haha so learn new stuff quite hard lor haix but nvm the joy of the lord is my strength...god has blessed mi much since sis py laid hands on mi...like when i missed 1 bus, usually i have to wait for like 10 mins for the next one...but kept tinking in my mind that God has not forsaken mi n the nxt bus came like in 5 mins...really wanna thank God for His grace...oso in school library when i want to take lift, i dun have to wait cos when i reach the lift lobby the lift come already...so want to thank God for this too...God is great...Amen? i would say AMEN!!!
